SWSCC Suppliers’ Day 2026

On September 15, California Chemical joined formulators, brand owners and industry partners at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas for SWSCC Suppliers’ Day 2026. Hosted by the Southwest Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the event gave our team a chance to spend time with the people working across the personal care industry.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We appreciated the chance to meet you, hear about your work and introduce the people behind California Chemical. When so much of business happens through calls and messages, it’s good to have a place where you can start a conversation without scheduling another meeting.

A. Ella Durrani, Oscar Burgueño, Cory Staley, and Summer Zamiska represented our team on the show floor. A big thank-you to each of them for being there and helping make our booth a welcoming place to stop.

For us, a personal care sourcing conversation starts with understanding what someone is trying to make. An ingredient name is useful, but there’s usually more to the request: the application, the required grade, the information needed for evaluation and the quantity a project may eventually need.

Those are the details we want to understand as conversations continue after the show. They help connect an initial introduction with a practical next step, whether that means clarifying a material requirement, identifying the documents to request or discussing a sample evaluation. It’s the approach we want to bring to every inquiry, including the ones that begin with a quick hello at an event.

There was room for some fun, too. Our CC tote bags were a hit once again, and our YETI raffle gave us another reason to celebrate. Congratulations to Ana Ponce of Dhaliwal Laboratories, our raffle winner! Thank you to everyone who entered and spent time with our representatives.
